ALEXANDRIA, Minn. — An Arizona man staying at a resort on Lake Mary died Monday, June 20, after a tree fell on the camper he was staying in, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
Shortly before 11:45 p.m., the Douglas County Sheriff's Office received a call from the Elmwood Resort about a report that a tree had fallen on a camper.
Prior to that, shortly after 11 p.m., the sheriff's office had received multiple reports of storm damage from a system that had moved through the area.
When deputies responded to the scene, they located the camper with a male and female trapped inside. The Alexandria Fire Department helped extricate both people from the camper and the female was transported by North Ambulance to Alomere Health.
The victim is Mark Bunney, 72. He and wife, Debra Bunney, 66, are from Miami, Arizona.

Mark Bunney died at the scene, according to the sheriff's office. The incident under investigation, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
