Shed, home catch fire in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS — Grand Forks Fire Department crews responded to a residential fire on Saturday evening.

The incident started shortly before 11:30 p.m. at 5218 Circle Drive North. Crews were dispatched to a report of a shed fire that had spread to a nearby home. Crews extinguished the house fire but the shed was a total loss. Three people were displaced by the blaze and are being assisted by the Red Cross.

The GFPD responded with five engines, one truck and a command vehicle, along with 18 personnel. There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Grand Forks Police Department, Altru Ambulance and the Red Cross assisted.
