Portion of Stanford Road in Grand Forks to be closed temporarily in coming weeks

Road to be closed twice over the course of several days.

GRAND FORKS — Stanford Road in Grand Forks will be temporarily closed for two blocks from University Avenue north in the coming days.

The closures will be Aug. 15-18 and again Aug. 22-24. The road will be open Aug. 19-21.

According to a release from the city, the closure is to move in furniture to the new development at the corner of Stanford and University Avenue.
