Polling locations for East Grand Forks 2022 election cycle announced

Residents can verify what ward they are in on the Minnesota Secretary of State's website and going to the Election Day Voting tab

EAST GRAND FORKS — Some East Grand Forks polling locations for the 2022 elections have changed from 2020 due to redistricting after the 2020 census.

The voting locations by ward are:

Ward 1: Senior Center at 538 Rhinehart Dr. SE

Ward 2: City Hall training room located on the first floor at 600 DeMers Ave. NW

Ward 3: Senior High School at 1420 4th Ave NW — enter Door 2 or the entrance by the gyms on the north side of the school.

Ward 4: Same as Ward 3

Ward 5: Same as Wards 3 and 4

Residents can verify what ward they are in on the Minnesota Secretary of State's website at https://www.sos.state.mn.us/elections-voting/election-day-voting/ . Questions can be directed to the Administrative Office at (218) 773-2483 or admin@egf.mn .

Absentee voting for the primary election is now available at the Administration Office in City Hall located on the second floor in the West Wing. The primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 9 and the primary election time frame for absentee voting is June 24, to Aug. 8.

Voters that need to register to vote before Election Day should do so by July 19 for the primary election.

The General Election will be on Tuesday, Nov. 8 and the time frame for absentee voting will be Sept. 23 to Nov. 7. Voters that need to register to vote before Election Day should do so by Oct. 18 for the General Election.
