LIVE: Grand Forks City Council meets to discuss Fufeng development agreement, traffic study, other business

The meeting is starting at 5:30 p.m. beginning with the JDA meeting

The Grand Forks City Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1 for its regular meeting.

The Jobs Development Authority will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the regular City Council meeting.

An agenda can be found here , topics slated for discussion include a development agreement with Fufeng Group regarding the proposed corn milling plant, as well as a traffic study related to the plant. The Council will also recognize its interns during the meeting and the presentation of the Griggs Award will also occur, according to the agenda.

The Council has entered executive session to discuss ongoing litigation.
