GRAND FORKS — A local businessman and veteran is running for a position on the Grand Forks County Commission.
K.C. Inman announced his intent with a release sent to the Grand Forks Herald.
Inman owns Modern Information Systems, Inc., a provider of document scanning since 1984. Prior to that, he was a partner in the firm ABM and a pilot in the Air Force.
He has been active in local civic organizations, serving as president of the Grand Forks Optimist Club and chairman for the Military Affairs Committee. He is a member of the Optimist Club, Public Safety Answering Board, Law Enforcement Memorial Committee, and the Military Affairs Committee.
The County Commission primary election is June 14.
