Grand Forks police investigating possible gunshots

Grand Forks police are investigating potential gunshots late Thursday, a press release said.

Police were called to an apartment building at 4265 Fifth Ave. N. on reported gunshot sounds at 10:34 p.m., the release said. Officers spoke with several people on scene but could not locate where the gunshots originated or any evidence to suggest that a person or property was damaged, the release said.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information can contact police at (701) 787-8000, the Tip411 smartphone app, the department website or Facebook.
