Crews have blockaded a street in Grand Forks in preparation for an emergency exercise to be held later today (Wednesday, Aug. 7). Staging for the exercise will begin at 11 a.m.; the event is expected to be finished by approximately 3 p.m.
The exercise is being conducted at 115 N Fourth St., just in front of Central High School. It is not open to the public.
The exercise will include various agencies, including the Grand Forks Emergency Management Office, the city's police and fire departments, Altru Health System and the Grand Forks School District.
