GF News Forward: Spring thaw update, worship amid pandemic, handling delinquent utilities

Journalist Hannah Shirley will sit in on an update from the National Weather Service in Grand Forks on the progress of the spring thaw. She will highlight any significant precipitation or temperature swings which could affect the timing of an expected spring flood.

As the bishop of the Fargo Diocese of the Catholic Church has issued a directive canceling mass in churches, reporter Pamela Knudson will be looking into what this means for Catholics in the area and what steps other church leaders are taking to protect the health and well-being of their congregants.

Grand Forks won’t shut off delinquent utilities in March and might not do late fees in April. Reporter Joe Bowen will look into how East Grand Forks is handling its utility situation. He also will check in with Xcel and Comcast, among others.
