Two people were hospitalized early Sunday after an apartment fire near downtown Grand Forks.

At roughly 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16, the Grand Forks Fire Department was called to a fire at 321 N. 4th St., according to a Sunday morning news release, and firefighters helped evacuate the structure.

Two people in the house were transported to Altru Hospital with unknown injuries, according to firefighters, and their condition wasn't clear around 9:30 a.m.

At least 10 firefighters, four fire engines, an Altru ambulance, and assorted police were still on the scene at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday.
