Senior students in Grand Forks spent the afternoon celebrating the end of an old chapter in their lives and the beginning of a new one during graduation ceremonies Sunday.

More than 250 students from Red River High School graduated Sunday afternoon at the Alerus Center. Seniors Madeline Kleven, Megan Miller and Olivia Taylor spoke to the graduating class about their time at Red River and what the future may hold for the students.

Nearly 175 seniors walked the stage during the Grand Forks Central High School graduation ceremony. Grace Jackson, Bailey Jaeger and Davidson McLean spoke for the 2019 graduating class and gave words of encouragement to their fellow classmates.
