A mishap at a rural intersection in Polk County, Minnesota, led to one driver suffering minor injuries.
It occurred shortly after 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at the corner of Polk County Road 10 and Polk County Road 41 in Garden Township, south of Mentor.
According to a release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office, Grant Cassavant, 38, was driving a Toyota Tacoma and Jacque Flynn, 39, was driving a Buick Enclave. The release says it appears the Toyota was northbound on County 10, stopped for a stop sign and then proceeded into the intersection. It collided with the westbound Buick.
Both vehicles were heavily damaged and Flynn and a young passenger were transported to the hospital in Crookston.
