GRAND FORKS — Grand Forks officers are investigating how a person ended up in the hospital with a gunshot wound on Sunday night, June 13.

According to Grand Forks police, they were called to the emergency room at Altru Health System shortly after 6:30 Sunday night.

Police said when they got there, they found a person with a bullet wound in their leg, but they can't confirm if the injury was accidental, self-inflicted or on purpose.

However, police did confirm the injuries are non-life threatening.
