Two high-risk sexual offenders have moved to Grand Forks, according to the Grand Forks Police Department.

Dakota Christianson now resides on 22nd Avenue South. Christianson has been convicted in 2012 of gross sexual imposition for having sexual intercourse with a 12-year-old female when he was 18 years old.

Dwight Moses now resides on 20th Avenue South. Moses was convicted in 2019 of gross sexual imposition involving force or threat of serious bodily injury or kidnapping, gross sexual imposition in which the offender is an adult and the victim is under the age of 12, or kidnapping and the adult offender is other than the victim's parent.

Level III sexual offenders are considered high-risk and are contacted at least every 30 days to verify their status. There are 114 offenders registered with the Grand Forks Police Department that either live, work or attend school in Grand Forks. Of those, 11 are assigned a risk level of high.
