UND Police have released security footage showing a suspect fleeing the Gamma Phi Beta sorority house after an early-morning burglary on Monday, Nov. 11, and are asking for the public's help in identifying the person.
"Can you assist us in identifying the male subject that is in the picture below?" a post on the UND Police Department's Facebook page reads. "This subject is a person of interest in a recent burglary that occurred within the campus district. If you have any information regarding this individual, please contact Detective Caro by phone at 701-777-3491 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also send us a private message on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram."
UND Police Lt. Daniel Weigel said that anyone who was driving past the sorority house located at 3300 University Ave. around 5 a.m. with more information should reach out to the UND Police.
"People understand that if they were in that area around 5 a.m. on Monday morning that they may have seen something," Weigel said. "We just ask that, if they did, just to give us a call so we can get that information from them."
