A man who was involved in an ATV accident in Grand Forks Friday evening received medical attention from bystanders, according to Grand Forks police.

According to a release from the police department, the incident occurred at approximately 8 p.m. Friday at the 5300 block of Circle Drive North. There, a man was injured when his all-terrain vehicle crashed into a parked car.

When responders arrived, bystanders were performing CPR. The man regained consciousness and was evaluated by Altru paramedics, according to the police report. He was transported with unknown injuries.

He was not wearing a helmet and speed appears to be a factor, according to the police report. Altru ambulance service assisted on this call. This is an active and ongoing investigation. Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the Grand Forks Police Department.
