DEVILS LAKE—The Devils Lake Police Department is looking for a man they believe stole a rail company truck early Thursday morning, and a dashcam allegedly appears to have caught the thief in the act.

The BNSF Railway truck was reportedly stolen shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday from the Amtrak station in Devils Lake, according to the Police Department's Facebook page. The vehicle was recovered, and a dashcam in the truck recorded footage of a suspect driving the BNSF vehicle, police allege. A screenshot from the video shows a man wearing a tan jacket, hoodie, baseball cap and glasses.

The suspect was at large as of Thursday morning. The Police Department has asked the public for help identifying him. Those with information are asked to call (701) 662-0700.
