The Douglas County (Minn.) Sheriff’s Federation is asking the community to leave a blue light shining outside their homes to show their support for Jason Moszer’s family and the law enforcement community.

Fargo Police Officer Jason Moszer was shot during a standoff after a domestic disturbance Wednesday; he didn't survive. Moszer, 33, was a Fargo officer for six years and leaves behind a wife and two children.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Federation is asking the community to leave a blue light shining outside their homes to show their support for Moszer’s family and the law enforcement community.

Blue light bulbs will be available at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (216 7th Ave. West, Alexandria, Minnesota) with a suggested donation of $5 each; 100 percent of the proceeds will go to Moszer’s family.
