BISMARCK — An inmate who walked away from the Missouri River Correctional Center Monday evening was arrested Wednesday, July 10, in Wahpeton.
David Joseph Gray left the minimum security facility in Bismarck between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday, according to a news release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol. Officials contacted Highway Patrol as soon as they realized he was gone.
Gray is serving a sentence for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and was scheduled for release in April 2021, authorities said.
Gray, who is considered dangerous, was taken into custody in Wahpeton Wednesday evening.
