All Grand Forks school buildings and their playgrounds are closed to the public, Superintendent Terry Brenner said at a city-hosted news conference Wednesday, April 1.

The school district is asking everyone to stay off playground equipment, “as tempting as it may be,” Brenner said.

District employees are working to prepare signs publicizing playground closures. The signs will be posted on each of the school district properties.
