A man from Edmore, N.D., was injured in a two-car crash Saturday, Sept. 25, near Devils Lake.
According to a release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol, James Holden, 21, suffered serious injuries when his 2006 Chevy Silverado struck a farm truck that was preparing to make a turn from Highway 2 onto an intersecting road, approximately three miles east of Devils Lake. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The 1974 Chevy farm truck was driven by Jeremy Swanson, 39, of Devils Lake. He was not wearing a seatbelt, but was not injured.
The Highway Patrol reported that after the Silverado caught fire, Holden was assisted out of the vehicle by Swanson and others.
The crash remains under investigation.
