NEW TOWN, N.D. — Authorities have identified the victims of a rollover crash that left two motorists dead and one injured.
The crash happened Tuesday, Sept. 7, on North Dakota Highway 8, about 8 miles northeast of New Town.
A 2006 GMC Envoy was traveling north on Highway 8 when it left the road and entered the west ditch, rolling three to four times, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
All three occupants of the vehicle were ejected. None were wearing seat belts, the patrol said.
The driver, Rosa Marie Winanz, 31, of Mandan, died at the scene, the patrol said. A passenger, 39-year-old Wade William White Body of Minot, was flown to Trinity Hospital in Minot where he died of his injuries.
Another passenger, 23-year-old Justin Luke White Body of New Town, was taken by ambulance to Trinity Hospital for his injuries, the patrol said.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
