WALCOTT, N.D. — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified the West Fargo woman who was killed in a motorcycle crash which took place Saturday afternoon, June 12, on County Road 26 north of Walcott.
The deceased, 51-year-old Tracy Stephens of West Fargo, died Friday, June 18, from injuries suffered in the crash.
Stephens and 51-year-old West Fargo resident Robert Stephens Jr., who was driving the motorcycle, rolled over after attempting to negotiate a right turn along the roadway. The two were transported to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo. Neither were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Robert Stephens Jr. also suffered serious injuries in the crash. Charges are pending against Stephens Jr.
In a second crash which took place at the same time and location, Keegan Dahl, a 37-year-old Glyndon man, and Brittney Kenyon, a 36-year-old Fargo woman, overturned their motorcycle after negotiating a right turn. Dahl and Kenyon were not wearing helmets and suffered injuries.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
