Grand Forks police on Saturday responded to a rollover crash that involved multiple vehicles.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:14 p.m. According to a report from the Grand Forks Police Department, a tan Chevy Avalanche had passed westbound through the intersection of Gateway Drive and North Washington Street and struck a traffic light. The vehicle proceeded to strike four parked cars at the Galaxy Auto dealership and was found on its roof when officers arrived.

There were two occupants -- a minor and the driver. Police say the minor's name will not be released; the driver's name was not released as of Sunday morning. Both were transported for evaluation.

According to the GFPD release, the cause of the crash is being investigated. The department asks anyone with information to call 701-787-8000, or to submit a tip through the GFPD's Facebook page or through the Tip411 app.

Pedestrians and motorists are asked to use caution while using the intersection due to the loss of a traffic signal device.
