Two people were taken to Altru Hospital with unknown injuries Monday, Oct. 12, after a motorcycle struck a truck in Grand Forks.

Grand Forks police responded to a report of a crash around 9:20 p.m. at South 34th Street and 32nd Avenue South, according to a release from the Grand Forks Police Department.

Police determined that a 2005 Chevrolet pickup, driven by 65-year-old Gregory Slominski, of Ardoch, N.D., had been making a left turn onto South 34th Street from 32nd Avenue South, when a westbound 2016 Harley Davidson driven by 41-year-old Corey Anderson, of Grand Fork,s struck the pickup's front passenger side.

The Harley Davidson had significant damage and the pickup had disabling damage, the release stated. Slominski was cited for failure to yield.

The Grand Forks Fire Department and Altru Ambulance Service also assisted Grand Forks police.
