A Grand Forks man was transported to the hospital after his bicycle collided with a car on Wednesday, Sept. 2, in Grand Forks.

Grand Forks police were dispatched to the 1100 block of DeMers Avenue around 5 p.m. Wednesday for a report of a bicycle crash.

According to police, a 2009 Mercury Sable, driven by John Kroeber, of Grand Forks, was traveling eastbound on DeMers Avenue when a bicycle entered the roadway attempting to cross south to north. The Sable struck the bicycle.

The bicycle driver, Brandin Enderle, was transported to Altru Hospital and is being treated for "unknown injuries," according to the release.

Grand Forks police were assisted by the Grand Forks Fire Department, Altru Ambulance, GFPD Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team, and the Northeast Regional Unmanned Aircraft System team.
