LAMOURE, N.D. -- A Fullerton, N.D., man was killed Thursday, May 28, when he was thrown from his tractor.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the accident was reported at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 28. The 74-year-old man was driving a 1972 Allis Chalmers that was towing a pickup on a sloped, gravel roadway about five miles south of LaMoure. The patrol said the tractor and pickup started to sway and eventually became separated. The man was thrown from the tractor, which rolled into the north ditch, while the pickup went into the south ditch.

The man, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, the patrol said. LaMoure is about 58 miles southeast of Jamestown.
