GRAND FORKS — Dozens of people were got food from the Northlands Rescue Mission's mobile food pantry in Grand Forks Monday, Jan. 20.
The mission is using the mobile food pantry once a month to hand out meats, canned goods and produce to help people in need.
The mobile food pantry gives the rescue mission a chance to feed people who may otherwise not have access to the mission.
"A lot of time, people can't make it to a food bank so this way everybody gets fed," Shauna Lorenzen, Kitchen Manager at Northlands Rescue Mission.
Northlands Rescue Mission was able to hand out enough food to feed 30 people on Monday.
