BISMARCK - A public memorial is set to honor the pilot, paramedic and nurse killed Sunday night, Nov. 18, in an air ambulance crash northwest of Mandan.
The Rev. Greg Carr, lead chaplain of Crisis Care Chaplaincy, said the memorial is set for 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at the Bismarck Event Center in Bismarck.
The memorial will be open to the public as well as area firefighters, medical responders and police, Carr said.
Pilot Todd Lasky, paramedic Chris Iverson and nurse Bonnie Cook died as a result of the crash. They were en route to Williston for a neonatal patient late Sunday night when their plane crashed in a remote pasture west of Harmon Lake in rural Morton County.
Memorial funds have been established for donations in their memory.
Donations may be made to the Bismarck Air Medical Memorial at Starion Bank in memory of Lasky and Iverson.
Those wishing to offer donations in memory of Cook may contribute to an account through the CHI St. Alexius Foundation.
