Grand Forks school superintendent plans to resign

GRAND FORKS — The Grand Forks school superintendent Larry Nybladh plans to submit his resignation to the school board on Monday night.

Nybladh signed a three year contract extension in 2015.

Nybladh's reason for leaving has not been made public, but he has come under fire by some in the community for his handling in a series of suicides in the district over the past year.
