29-year-old Williston man killed in ATV crash

BAINVILLE, Mont. — A man from Williston, N.D., died Friday evening, May 26, as the result of an all-terrain vehicle crash on private property in Montana, police say.

Andrew Heen, 29, was rounding a corner on an ATV on a driveway when the vehicle tipped over and rolled, landing on top of him, Capt. Ed Hilbert of the Montana Highway Patrol's Glendive office said.

He was taken to the hospital in Williston, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash took place just before 9:15 p.m. near mile marker 15 off of Highway 327 outside Bainville in Roosevelt County. Both the Montana Highway Patrol and Roosevelt County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.

An investigation into whether alcohol use was a factor is ongoing, according to police.
