FARGO - The exact final number of entrants won't be known until later in the week, but the executive director of the Fargo Marathon estimated the number at between 20,500 and 21,000.
That may be big enough, said Mark Knutson.
"I don't think we need to go any bigger to be honest," he said. "It's a three-day event with 20,000 people. There are so many moving parts that we don't need to make it any harder than it is."
