Adult Art Classes
• Registration deadline Sept. 9: Pirjo Berg of Grand Forks will teach an adult painting class titled "Painting through the Ages" from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays in September and October at the North Dakota Museum of Art. Chautauqua-French Festival
• Aug. 23 - 25 near Red Lake Falls: The Asham Stompers, a dance group from Manitoba, will perform Aug. 24 and 25 during the Chautauqua and French Festival near Red Lake Falls, Minn. The dancers combine the Red River Jig with square dancing, adding some new steps to the traditional dance of the Canadian Metis. The festival also includes programs and crafts for children, along with traditional French food. Blues on the Red

The Magic Family Project
