Rose Ziegler

Reading by the river on a sunny Friday afternoon, Rose Ziegler wears a light, white '60s inspired sundress and brown gladiator sandals. Ziegler is a school counselor at Grafton (N.D.) High School. She lives in Grand Forks, but plans to move to Grafton with her husband this summer.

In her free time, she enjoys reading and searching for new vintage items to add to her wardrobe. With a yellow sapphire wedding ring and a short Twiggy-like haircut, Ziegler's style is vintage-inspired from head to toe.

• How would you describe your style?

"I like a lot of vintage-type styles, like 60s type styles."

• Where do you like to shop?

"All kinds of places really. Anywhere from vintage shops to Target. My favorite is probably Ragstock, which we just got in the area ... they do a lot of vintage and vintage-inspired clothes."

• How do you accessorize?

"I really don't. My wedding ring is really usually the only thing I'm wearing."

• What's your favorite trend this summer?

"I really like, it seems like the vintage swimsuits, like retro swimsuits, are coming back. Like the Marilyn Monroe style. I like those."

• What piece are you currently craving?

"One of those retro swimsuits again, but you can't find them in stores, so you have to order them online at vintage sites."
