I'm a sweaty guy. It's kind of my thing.
Finding a good deodorant and antiperspirant that keeps pace with my underarms has always been a challenge. At their best, deodorants have kept me from smelling terrible and keep the sweat manageable. I've tried every brand sold at your typical big-box retailer, but stayed away from any labeled "clinical strength."
I figured antiperspirant that is actually as strong as something that requires a prescription, but lacked a prescription, would just be throwing away more money for a lesser product.
That seems to be the case with Dove's Men + Care Clinical Protection deodorant.
It has two key phrases on its packaging: "nonirritant" and "wetness protection." I was happy with the first part, as some deodorant solids can leave behind an unpleasant texture or irritate the skin. This deodorant does not.

But, the "wetness protection" part was a resounding failure. During my physically demanding work schedule -- sitting at a desk for eight hours -- my underarms were as leaky as a swimming pool built by monkeys. I actually had to apply a different, nonclinical deodorant on my lunch break halfway through my shift.
Gross.
I think this deodorant will sit on a shelf until spring cleaning, when it will be unceremoniously tossed out with the rest of the junk I shouldn't have spent money on.
