GF church to hold THRIVE meeting
THRIVE North Dakota is billed as a large and unique Christian conference that will blend "heart, head and humor," featuring speakers from the huge multi-site Bayside Church near Sacramento, Calif., as well as local Christian leaders from various congregations to be held Oct. 15-16 in Hope Evangelical Covenant Church, 1601 17th Ave. S., Grand Forks.
"They have done this conference in Belfast, in London, in San Diego," said the Rev. Paul Knight, pastor of Hope. "And in Grand Forks, N.D."

Rosary rally slated for downtown
A "Public Square Rosary Crusade" will be held at noon Oct. 16 in the Town Square downtown at DeMers Avenue and Third Street.
