Mustache straws

These mustache straws work great for St. Patty’s Day parties for kiddos big and small, and they’re super easy to make.

Here are two different ways to make these (for straight and bendable straws). Be sure to have fun with different mustache colors and take plenty of pictures of your newly mustached friends.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Bendable or straight straws (in color of choice)

Construction paper (2 or more sheets in green, orange or black)

Pen

Tape

Optional: Hole punch (same size as straws); mustache template (download at gfherald.com)

DIRECTIONS

Step 1. Draw a mustache onto construction paper. Cut it out.

Step 2. Place mustache on workspace and lay straw on top.

Step 3 (for straight straws). Cut a small strip of construction paper and tape three pieces together. (Mustache will slide to wearer’s preference.)

Step 3 (for bendable straws). Punch a hole in the middle of mustache cutout and place onto straw before bend.
