Home-made dog treats

Here's a way to save money and make healthier treats for your pooch.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

2 cups whole wheat flour (regular flour will also work)

1 cup of oats

¼ cup of peanut butter

1 cup water

DIRECTIONS

1.Preheat oven to 350.

2.Place all ingredients in a bowl, mix well.

3.Pad dough into a ball. On a piece of parchment or your work surface, roll out dough until it's a ½ inch thick. (If you don't have a cookie cutter, a cup will work.)

4.Place dough on a lightly greased cookie sheet.

5.Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Let them cool for a few hours before serving.
