Hand-crafted items for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and hundreds of home, yard and personal art objects and accessories will be sold Saturday and Sunday at the 39th annual East Grand Forks Arts and Crafts Fair.

The fair spans two locations with a free shuttle bus to transport shoppers from one venue to the other and back again. Hours will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the East Grand Forks Civic Center and the VFW Arena. Organizers suggest that patrons park at the Civic Center, then ride the free shuttle to the VFW Arena.

Admission is $2 to both arenas and free for children younger than six. Strollers and pets are not allowed at either venue.

The Arts and Crafts Fair boasts dozens of vendors from Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa and beyond, and thousands of handcrafted items for infants, children and adults. The East Grand Forks Blue Line Club and the Northern Lights Figure Skating Club will operate concession stands at both arenas Saturday and Sunday.

The East Grand Forks Arts and Crafts Council has an office at East Grand Forks City Hall. Its officers are President Jan Baune, Vice President Kathy Wirkus, Secretary Nancy Larson and Co-treasurers Kristen Harris and Marcy Anderson. Lorraine O'Shea is chair of the show.
