Attention, fans of Greater Grand Forks Community Theatre and public at large. Now's your chance to vote for your favorite actors, directors and plays in the productions you've seen in the past year presented by Greater Grand Forks Community Theatre.
Why are the awards called the Dalmatians? Because many GGFSO productions are performed on the stage of Fire Hall Theatre, the building wedged between Grand Forks City Hall and Grand Forks Central High School gymnasium that used to be a fire hall.
And what dog is the mascot of every self-respecting fire hall? The Dalmatian, of course.
To cast your ballots, go to www.ggfct.com or the Fire Hall Theatre Facebook group, and click on the "vote" link. Voting is confidential, and the polls will be open until 5 p.m. June 1.
The awards ceremony will be at 7:30 p.m. June 3 in Fire Hall Theatre. Attendance is free, and the public is welcome.
