UND Concert
-Thursday at Chester Fritz: The UND Wind Ensemble and University Band conducted by James Popejoy will present its first concert of the season at 8 p.m. at UND Chester Fritz Auditorium, Grand Forks. Mural unveiling
-Thursday in Fargo: "The North Dakota Mural," a 13- by 24-foot mural by Grand Forks native James Rosenquist, will be unveiled at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Plains Art Museum. -Saturday and Sunday in Bemidji: Saarens Productions will hold open auditions for "Shortly Thereafter ... An Evening of One Acts and Short Plays," from 2 to 4 p.m. at Wild Rose Theater, Bemidji. Auditions are open to people ages 16 through senior citizens. Each actor will be asked to do a cold reading from one or more of the plays.
