'Godspell'
- Opening Wednesday in Roseau, Minn.: When the musical "Godspell" opens Wednesday in Roseau, three people involved with the show will be named Wenzel. Pam Wenzel has returned as the musical director. Her husband, Bob Wenzel, known for constructing violins, will play acoustic guitar in the orchestra and their son, Zach, is in the cast and will be featured on the song, "All Good Gifts." Bob Wenzel, who teaches guitar, recruited some of his students to join the show's orchestra. "We now have a rock band that includes two guitars, a bass, drums and keyboard. This is all thanks to the Wenzels' influence," director Rick Anderson said in a news release. About the show: "Godspell," the contemporary retelling of the gospel of St. Matthew, will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through July 10 and 2 p.m. July 11 in the Roseau School theater.
