Book signing
-- Today in Thompson, N.D.: Karyn Hippen, Thompson, author of the book "Make Me New: One Woman's Fight to Mend a Broken Past," will sign copies of her book at 7 p.m. today in the Thompson Community Center. Hippen's book has been described as "a beautifully written, heart-wrenching, at times shocking memoir" of surviving domestic abuse, her husband's suicide and other life crises. Hippen said of the book's message: "No matter what anybody is going through, no matter how bad it might be, you can get through it and be a stronger person on the other side."
