Ralph Engelstad Arena is making more tickets available for the March 24 Elton John concert at prices of $39, $79 and $139.
The announcement Thursday from General Manager Jody Hodgson cited "exceptional demand" for the concert tickets. However, Ralph officials didn't say how many tickets originally had been offered, how many more had been added or whether there was more room to expand seating should there be additional demand.
Ralph officials said earlier that the John concert would be set up as an end stage, full house configuration, and that the Ralph could seat 11,634 people for a hockey game, plus about 1,200 more seats on the floor.
John and his band will open the show at 8 p.m. There will be no opening band.
The superstar's career spans five decades and he is one of the top-selling solo artists of all time, with 35 gold and 25 platinum albums, 29 consecutive Top 40 hits. Since his career began in 1969 he has played more than 3,000 concerts worldwide.
