"Comedy and Compassion: A Winning Combination" is the theme of the Mission of Hope banquet and silent auction Nov. 3 in the Alerus Center, featuring comedian and award-winning director Michael Jr.
A silent auction will be from 5 to 6:55 p.m., with dinner starting at 7 p.m. and followed by the comedy show. Tickets are available by calling (701) 772-6600.
Michael Jr. is known for his cross-over standup comedy and his ability to be hilariously funny while being clean, a news release said. He has been equally enduring on late-night and daytime television, comedy clubs to faith-based venues across America.
