Erickson, Turtle Lake, N.D., won an Independent Publishers award for her adult novel, "Geezettes," in 2008.

"What Happened to the Deer?" was the first book in the Peanut Butter Club Mystery Series. In "Who Jinxed the C&G Ranch," Abby and Josh take their four grandchildren and two friends to a ranch north of Medora in the North Dakota Badlands to help Aunt Gracie and Uncle Clyde. Little do they know a summer adventure awaits, a news release said.

Erickson will sign her books at the Pride of Dakota Holiday Showcase Nov. 7-8 at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks. In addition to the Peanut Butter Club mysteries, she has written three children's picture books in the Grandma Mary & Bonbon Series; a nonfiction book about caring for elderly parents, "Common Sense Caregiving"; and a novel of short stories, cooking tips, recipes, and gardening hints called "Humble & Homemade: Survival in Tough Times."

"Geezettes" is a funny, folksy, thought-provoking novel about seven retired women. The books are available at UND Bookstore and at www.drmarysbooks.com/ .
