The fuss over Marilyn Hagerty may have taken a few days off, but it has returned at full throttle.
The 85-year-old Herald columnist is back in the spotlight, making plans for another national television appearance and possibly a book deal.
A crew from the Anderson Cooper show will be in Grand Forks next week as Hagerty does a restaurant review. A week later, she is scheduled to be in New York for a television appearance with Cooper.
She is also in discussions with publisher Harper Collins about a book deal. The potential deal would be a collaboration with Anthony Bourdain, a chef who is the host of Travel Channel show "No Reservations."
The developments came in recent days, after a lull from the Internet buzz over Hagerty's Olive Garden review and the television networks tracking her popularity.

"The Internet craze was one thing, but people have really taken notice of what Marilyn is all about," Herald Editor Mary Jo Hotzler said. "She's all about something good and something real.
"It isn't just a craze or a phase. It looks like she has lasting power."
