Les Sholes, Grand Forks, creator of "Storyboard Tales," has released all 27 episodes of the illustrated, dark comedic video series on YouTube.

The series of short stories with bizarre twists feature narrated episodes about one minute long and contain an average of 10 sketches each. "Storyboard Tales" has its own channel on YouTube where the videos can be viewed.

After the "Storyboard Tales" videos receive the proper number of hits, Sholes will be eligible to become a partner in the revenue sharing program, a news release said, and will be paid for advertising that appears before and/or after each episode airs.

Sholes launched the "Storyboard Tales" website in June, and it has received several thousand hits. He teamed with Google Adsence, the world's largest advertising network, which displays advertising banners on the "Storyboard Tales" website.

In August, Sholes won an EMPixx Award for the "Storyboard Tales" video series. The awards were presented by the American Pixel Academy for outstanding achievement in the creation of moving pixels. Sholes won in the Internet category and received the Platinum Award, the highest honor in the competition.

Sholes said he will continue to market "Storyboard Tales" to other revenue-sharing websites such as Meta Cafe and Blip TV. Depending upon its success, he will consider producing more episodes.
