Jesse Langseth went from "American Idol" hopeful to Hennepin County inmate.

The 26-year-old Fargo native was arrested in Minneapolis early Friday for an outstanding warrant. She posted $300 bail and was released around 5 a.m., the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported.

The warrant was from 2007 and stems from not appearing in court after being cited for driving after suspension and fraudulent use of license tabs and plates.

She is now scheduled to appear in court on May 27.

After failing to make the final 13 during this season's "Idol," Langseth was called back as a wild card and earned favorable reviews from the judges, but still didn't make the cut.

The sister of singer/guitarist Jonny Lang and Brat Pack Radio singer Heidi Jo Langseth recently booked a homecoming show for May 13 at the Fine Line Music Café in Minneapolis.
