- Sept. 11, Thompson, N.D.: St. Jude's Catholic Church will hold a fall dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 11 at the church in Thompson, serving turkey, dressing, real mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw, green beans, homemade buns, cranberries and dessert. There also will be a bake sale. Adults, $8; ages 6 to 12, $5; 5 and younger, $2; take-outs, $8.50.
- Sept. 17. Petersburg, N.D.: The annual Swiss steak supper at Petersburg (N.D.) Lutheran Church will be from 4:30 o 7 p.m. Sept. 17.
